HAIRDRESSING TEACHER AND ASSESSOR
Working as a teacher within the Bridge Training Ltd (BTL) provision you will be delivering Hairdressing to young people aged 14-19 at Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2 (with possible expansion to Level 3). As part of the Bridge Training teaching team, you will develop a strong Hair programme that meets the needs of the students and the BTL curriculum.
The post holder should be highly motivated with a ‘can do approach’ to education, have knowledge of OFSTED and ideally will have been involved in the inspection process and demonstrate innovative teaching practice. You will be responsible for planning, teaching and differentiation within the Hair curriculum and will ensure the effective delivery of a high-quality learning experience for students.
- To carry out the professional duties of a teacher in accordance with Bridge Training Ltd (BTLs) policies under the direction of the Head of Teaching and Learning
- To be an effective professional who demonstrates knowledge within the vocational field, can teach, assess effectively, take responsibility for professional development and encourage the best in their students
- General Duties including be-self-motivated and driven to make a difference
Please note: that if you do not currently hold a teaching qualification it will become a mandatory requirement for this post and must be achieved within 18 months. A Bridge Training Ltd mentoring programme is in place to help you achieve this.
BTL follows a Safer Recruitment Policy and process, the post will require an enhanced DBS
