Bridge Training has been a registered charity based in central Gloucester since 1989 and has also established itself as a limited company for the delivery of government funded training. Bridge Training provides an opportunity for young people and adults to develop their academic, personal and practical skills in order to maximize their prospects of employment.
Bridge Training has a strong ethos of providing Equal Opportunities and works with mainstream students alongside students who have been Home- Educated, are at risk of exclusion from Mainstream Schooling or have High Needs funding in line with our mission statement :

Bridge Training is accredited to deliver qualifications for VTCT, OCR, IMI, BCS, and Pearson from Entry Level to Level 1 and 2 and are Matrix Accredited for IAG since February 2014, providing independent Advice and Guidance to those who are NEET.
Bridge Training continues to contract with the EFA and is contracted for delivery of Study Programmes under Learner Responsive funding. We deliver a range of individually tailored programmes which may include Vocational Study, Employability Skills, Maths and English and Mentoring as well as one-to-one lessons and counselling sessions where approporiate.
Bridge Training currently employs 28 staff who hold or are working towards qualifications in their field of expertise and all are Qualified to a minimum Level 3 in one or more subject. All staff have achieved a Level 2 qualification in Safeguarding Training.
The Managing Director is responsible for the overall management of the company’s performance although he is supported in this by an External Advisory Board and Senior Management Team.

Individual options: Have a one to one IAG interview and discuss the wide range of options which will help to ensure you’re on the right course. Timetables can be flexible to suit any part-time work you have or to introduce you slowly back into education if you have not been in education for a while and with class sizes limited to 10 you will gain personalized support.
Mentor Groups: Links with local and national charities, local employers and a wide range of external service providers means a weekly programme of external speakers on a range of subjects.

Responsive to Local Need : Being a small provider we are able to adapt fast to the changing needs of the local market. New courses can quickly be introduced to help provide courses and experience to suit the employment opportunities available in the local area.
